From BingEing to Being
Make your Habits Meaningful for Life
starting Wed nov 4th, 2026
“Knowtice. See yourself and love what you see.”
Joseph Seiler, Master Coach
In this class, we explore how the things we choose, desire, and become absorbed in can reveal what matters to us. Even habits that feel distracting or compulsive can offer valuable information about ourselves and help us navigate life with greater clarity and purpose.
I’ve just binged a show with six seasons. I’ve read a book from cover to cover in one sitting. I can’t turn off the song lyrics ringing in my head. I keep following someone on social media who takes up my time. Should I feel guilty? Ashamed? No, I take all these hours spent as an opportunity to ask myself questions: What can I learn about myself? What is it about this show, book, song, or person that is relevant to my life—and why? Once we gain greater clarity, we can return to—and engage with—our own lives in a meaningful way.
This is a feel-good class about curiosity rather than judgment. Bring something you are passionate about — a social media post or influencer, a favourite show, book, or song — and discover what it might have to teach you about yourself.

course outline
week / module 1
You begin to explore what your choices, desires, and habits might reveal about yourself, by learning about your five senses, including the mind as a sixth sense, and how they shape your experience of the world. You then apply this new awareness to what you brought to class: a social media post or influencer, a favourite show, book, song, or anything else that distracts you or absorbs your attention. The intention is to move from judgment or guilt toward curiosity and to discover a personal question that you want to explore more deeply.
What’s got my attention?
week / module 2+3
You share your first insights from exploring your personal question. You continue to explore, expand and deepen your question through guided creative and reflective practices. Rather than asking whether the answers you uncover are “good” or “bad,” you become curious about what they tell you that matters to you.
Why am I into this?
week / module 4
Celebration! You have found a valuable answer or insight. Let us now focus on how to take it forward. By revisiting your original personal question and noticing how your understanding may have shifted, we will reflect together as a group what energy is and how it works when it guides our attention. You then apply this new awareness to become clearer about managing your personal energy in everyday choices, relationships, habits, and priorities.
What truly matters to me?
week / module 5
In our final meeting, we explore how other things in life that distract or absorb us can become invitations to know ourselves more deeply - and to use what we discover to direct our energy purposefully into creating a life that feels more meaningful to us.
The course concludes with an opportunity to set an intention, to commit to your favourite practice from class, or to identify a brand new question - anything that can continue to guide you beyond the class.
