The 5 week course is designed to introduce children 11-14 years to the power and messages of their dreams.
The initial emphasis will be on dreaming with power animals and ally animals to establish a rapport with these figures. We will also be exploring other figures, be it people, objects, landscapes, or other spaces.
Children will be invited to keep a Dream Journal, and learn how to work with their dreams on their own. We’ll explore the mythical, symbolic and archetypal aspects of our dreams, and learn how to our dreams through art or movement. Through Dream Tending, children will discover sacred insights and personal gifts along the way.

week / module 1
waking up to your dreams
Everyone dreams! We’ll discuss why we should pay attention to our dreams, and how to bring our curiosity and imagination! You’ll be invited to share a dream, and create a unique expression of your dream through art or movement. We’ll also explore the importance of keeping a Dream Journal.
week / module 2
ANIMALS AS THEY VISIT IN DREAMS
You will be invited to share about animals who have visited you in a current or past night or waking dream. What is this animal telling you? How is the animal an ally? We’ll also explore active imagination, and create a vivid expression of your dream animal through art / movement.
week / module 3
WHO IS VISITING?
We’ll explore meeting the figures in your dreams, be it a person, an object, a house, a landscape, a room, or an animal. Get curious - who or what is calling you? We’ll continue to discover with active imagination, and explore how to have a conversation with the figure in your dream. We’ll also create an expression through art or movement.

Let’s tend a dream
You’ll be invited to tell a dream as if it’s happing now. We’ll exploring the mythical, symbolic and archetypal aspects of your dream. Using our dream journals, we’ll seek deeper understanding, and animate your dream with your curiosity and your imagination.

SYNTHESIS OF journey
Parents will be invited to attend this class if they wish. This is an opportunity to ask questions, give feedback on what you learned on our journey together, and what personal gifts you discovered. You also receive resources for furthering your interest in Dream Tending.

gaby hass
Gaby Hass began her teaching career right out of College, teaching 3rd grade and then visually impaired children for many years. She advanced to a VP of Education and eventually an Executive Director. After 26 years at the Blind Children’s Learning Center, she returned to Graduate school to earn a master’s degree with an emphasis in Depth Psychology and leading the creative life. This was followed by a 2-year certification in DreamTending also from Pacifica Graduate institute in Southern California.
Gaby currently is a longtime resident of Huntington Beach, CA, where she is kept busy with her cat Leo, her son Morgan and her 2 granddaughters. She enjoys being an active elder. She has come full circle and weaves a web of all the Spiritual Light work, psychological and metaphysical wisdom gathered over her lifetime, to help people awaken to the messages of the Dream World. With her love of teaching children and spending alot of time with her own granddaughters, she welcomes these Star Children, for she believes they are the future of this new earth.
