(Seasons of Birth) Ceremonies:
Spiritual Education Experiences where together we SEE our Oneness
The class is an introduction to SeaSunal Ceremonies and is designed for Caregivers and Families to learn how to co-create experiences to connect with the cycles of nature, the cosmos and ourselves.
The class is structured based on a 5 part SeaSunal Ceremony where we Offer Gratitude for all we have received (Fall), BEarth the Ceremony through singing and dancing (Winter), Grow through Spiritual Educational Experiences (Spring), Celebrate and share about our experiences (Summer) and Offer Gratitude for all we experienced in the ceremony (Fall).
The beginning and the end of the class is for all ages where we will offer thanks, sing, dance, share and offer more thanks. The middle may have 5-10 minutes of slides and learning to introduce some of the experiences so a play space could be set up for the children while the Caregivers listen. By the end of the Course the hope would be for Caregivers to have the tools to co-create SeaSunal experiences for their families.

Genis O’Lachma Schmidtlock
Genis Marie O'Lachma Schmidtlock co-creates nourishing experiences with children and adults assisting them in re-membering their interconnectedness with Nature, the Cosmos and Themselves. She is a certified Dances of Universal Peace Leader and has guided Nature-Based Ceremonies for adults, families and children for over 13 years. She has been teaching for around 30 years at nature centers, outdoor education facilities, homeschooling, her daughter’s Montessori School and the Global School for Star Children where she taught a class entitled “Create Your Own Ceremony”. She embodies Astrology and co-creates Ceremonies based on Astrological Charts. She is also a contributor in the third Womancraft Publishing Compendium – Too Much Woman!!! and the Girl God Book Hectate: Underworld Guide and Holy Hag. She lives near Chicago, IL with her husband, daughters and rabbit.
